The CSS Apprenticeship
Now in its 23rd year, the Computer Support Specialist (CSS) is an award-winning I.T. Apprenticeship program for recent Philadelphia high school graduates, adults, and career changers interested in pursuing careers in tech. The Urban Technology Project (UTP) is a joint initiative between Launch of Philadelphia and the School District of Philadelphia. Computer Support Specialists are assigned to a district school, office, or external company to provide I.T. Support.
The UTP I.T. Apprenticeship offers paid on-the-job training, industry certifications, mentorship, and professional development to successfully launch a career in Information Technology.
Eligibility
- Ages 18 – over
- High School Diploma or GED
- U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident
- 1 I.T. Certification and/or 1 year of I.T. experience
- Complete application
- Local resident, i.e, Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, Delaware & South Jersey
