At the core of UTP are young technical apprentices who accept simultaneous roles as learners and teachers. As they learn from mentors, they teach members of the school community and the city, sharing with others a passion for education, a pride in work ethic and a productive use of technology.
It is no small task to guarantee that the youth are gaining from the program as much as they are giving back to others, that they are learning from strong mentors as much as they are being strong role models for others.
