Digital Service Fellows Have S.W.A.G.

The Digital Service Fellows are teaching Students with Academic Goals! UTP Service Coordinator Shasta Bady has created a dynamic afterschool curriculum that helps students learn digital photography and through it explore themes of cyberbullying and internet safety. Speaking about the program, Ms. Bady states: “It’s about communicating through art. I’d like to foster an environment where we can create change without reading through a booklet…one that supports both mentors and mentees”.

Students With Academic Goals is an afterschool program run by Communities in Schools of Philadaelphia through a grant for 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
